Maya was just an amateur journalist and peaceful fighter when Eubulon was revived from his cryogenic capsule and re-assigned the Siren deck to her. Eubulon touched her forehead, giving her the past fighting knowledge of Kamen Rider Siren in order for her to hold her own. Maya was selected to be a Kamen Rider when Len was the only Kamen Rider available since Kase, Kit, James and Wrath were vented. Maya was a quick learner and liked saving the world in a more physical way. When James' mirror twin Price was taken out of the Advent Void, Maya thought he was James and it took a while for her to get over that he looks like Price. Maya used Blancwing, Siren's contract beast, Kase was not seen using it on Earth before. Kase was released from the Advent Void and sustained injuries and had to heal but Maya gave the deck back, saying she rather save the world how she did before, in a more peaceful manner.
